5K Prep Workshop for Women

  • The Crescent Collective 911 Old Liverpool Road Liverpool, NY, 13088 United States (map)

Join Dr. Erin Calandra, Doctor of Physical Therapy, in this special workshop focused on helping women in peri- or post-menopause navigate the transition with strength, flexibility, and grace through physical movement and health.

If you’re an experienced runner or simply curious on how to begin training properly in your specific season, join us for this workshop!

Fierce Forward represents a radical paradigm shift in traditional women's healthcare—stopping the "slippery slope" of menopause before it begins, keeping you at the pinnacle of your strength, confidence, and ability to express your highest self without pain as a barrier. This means staying fierce in honoring yourself, your body, and your health—because the world cannot let menopause dim your shine.

This workshop will cover:

  • How to train through peri to post menopause transitions

  • Running adaptations for peri- to post-menopause

  • Women-specific running form that honors your unique female physiology

  • How shifting hormones affect training & recovery

  • Strength routines designed for women's biomechanics

  • How to prevent the injuries that disproportionately affect women

  • Why once-a-week runners can be just as successful

Whether you’re 30 or 60, a first-timer or a seasoned runner, you belong here!
