🌳 Restorative Yoga with Meditation + Sound Healing

Restorative Yoga with Meditation + Sound Healing

with Sue & Michele at The Crescent Collective

911 Old Liverpool Rd, Suite 2

Special Anniversary Edition with special guest ReBecca Blanch!*

IT’S OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY AT THE CRESCENT COLLECTIVE!

Wild Roots of Yoga moved the heart of our practice to The Crescent Collective in Liverpool one year ago, and we want to celebrate our anniversary with you. On Sunday, September 21, we are planning a unique restorative yoga class. We have invited a special guest, ReBecca Blanch of Om Love Love, to assist in our restorative yoga practice that morning.

This hour of restorative yoga involves holding relaxed poses (blocks, blankets, bolsters encouraged) for longer periods of time. As you settle into your poses, you will experience three different paths to relaxation, including meditation, sound and reiki. Rebecca will guide you through meditations while Sue plays a wide range of sound instruments . Michele will send silent reiki energy to everyone, sharing the specific intention of deeper relaxation. There is absolutely no experience required.

The details:

Date: Sunday, September 21 from 9:30-10:30am.

Plan to arrive a few minutes early to set up your mat and settle in. Wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat  (if you have one) and anything else that would make you comfortable. We welcome you to stay afterward to celebrate with a mimosa mocktail.

Cost: $20  Advance registration is required to secure your spot.

This evening is dedicated to release, deep listening, and honoring the natural intelligence of your body.

The Casual Coven

The Casual Coven

A monthly practicum in practical magic

Welcome to your monthly escape into the art of mindful, enchanted living!

A tad tongue-in-cheek? Absolutely. But, if you, too, are looking to dip your toes into a more magical life but aren’t sure if the group chants or bare-your-soul vulnerability is for you, you’ve come to the right place.

Each month, we pick one topic or practice commonly used to help folks align to nature’s cycles, mindfulness practices, and self-care, and we’ll dig into its history, cultural significance, and mechanics.

Our gatherings are filled with roundtable discussions, practical applications, and end with a simple, yet sacred, circle.

Past topics have included: Tarot 101, Intro to Herbalism, Potions 101, Altars & Sacred Spaces, Incense & Incense-making, Ritual-craft, Talismans & Amulets, The “Clairs”, Grimoire Craft Night.

2025 Topics will include a variety of guest instructors and topics such as: Crystals & Touchstones, Herbalism, Runes, Tarot, Scrying as Meditative or Magical Practice, Holidays of the Wheel of the Year, Elemental Associations, Sigils, Sacred Geometry, Reiki, Dreamwork, Shadow work, Prayer as a Sensory Experience, and more.

Friday, June 13 6:30pm: Sigils 101

Unlock the power of symbolic magic.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the ancient and modern art of creating sigils—personalized symbols charged with meaning, mystery, and manifestation. You’ll learn how to distill your intentions into a single visual form, and how to “charge” your sigils for everyday magic. This is an artistic, spiritual, and practical night of creation and connection.

As always, we’ll start with a short overview of cross-cultural practices that incorporate sigils into religious and cultural ceremonies, prayer work, or folk magic. (Western Occult, Christianity, Kabbalah Judaism, Norse Runes, Vodou). Then we’ll learn a few different ways to create a sigil. Each participant will have time to consider a sigil theme they’d like to create, and we’ll spend some time in meditation and ritual to create our sigils and charge them for your intentions.

Whether you’re brand new to spiritual work or looking to deepen your practice, this class offers a grounded, accessible path into the magic of sigil creation.

✨ Come curious. Leave empowered.
🌿 All paths welcome.

This discussion-based gathering encourages open conversation, allowing everyone to share perspectives, experiences, and even a little healthy discourse.

Dance Floor Church

Dance Floor Church

with Tere Marie

The body serves as the container that houses all three of our ‘selves'

Body, Spirit and Mind.

And there's no greater medicine than tapping into the wisdom of the body.

Yet…Due to trauma, societal conditioning, lack of information and a cultural disregard for the importance of spiritual practice, many of us find ourselves disconnected from the three parts individually, let alone in unified connection with the group.

The basis of Dance Floor Church is facilitating unification of the of our three selves into one harmonious being or state.

In Dance Floor Church, we access flow state, which is an exquisite embodiment experience that many liken to bliss, or ecstasy.
When in flow state, our physical sensory system is in safety, and wide open to connection with our spiritual and emotional selves
From here, our physical self and our spiritual/ethereal/creative self come into harmonious alignment.
This process connects us to our truest expression of self, unlocking pathways to healing that have previously been inaccessible.

We can access our deepest, intuitive, creative stirrings
We can access parts of us that have felt ‘lost’ or ‘forgotten’.
We can access our inner wise woman
We can access Shadow with curiosity and openness
We can access healing where it was previously unavailable
We can access our magick and ability to manifest the lives we desire.

In Dance Floor Church, we remember who the fuck we are

In Dance Floor Church, we explore our nervous systems, tap into our deepest flow state, learn how to work with energies and emotions stored in the body, move them through the body, and reclaim our personal power through movement and dance.

During this class, you will connect to your deepest self, explore emotions/sensation/emotion, befriend and regulate your nervous system. You will fill your toolkit with exercises and practices to take home, and off the mat to help you feel more confident, powerful, and regulated throughout your week.

In class, we explore various techniques and practices, including: breath work, nervous system regulation, yoga, meditation, womb wisdom, un-choreographed (and some VERY sensual) dance.

This class is extremely powerful, and can, at times, be (safely) confronting.

Each class opens and closes in sacred circle, and invites all participants to be seen and witnessed in a circle of women.

Classes fill quickly, pre-registration is  recommended

Currently, this class is open to women, non binary folks and all genders with internal reproductive anatomy.

June 12, 6:00

$40

My work meets at the intersection of spirit, science and intuition.

I help people understand the symphony of cycles that influence their lives. From seasonal patterns, astrology, intuition, our nervous systems and our menstrual cycle, we can use the wisdom of these cycles to inform, organize and optimize our lives.

Testimonials:

"This class was just what the midwitch ordered! So fun and SO effective for moving emotions through the body. I cannot wait to partipate in the next session! Tere facilitated with grace and embodiment, giving thoughtful prompts and invitations throughout class. She set the stage for me to feel safe enough to drop in, let go of insecurities, and let the integration of body and mind happen in profound ways. I highly highly recommend!" -A

"Tere created a warm and accepting space for myself and other women to learn about our bodies and how movement affects it. It was such an empowering class. I can't wait for the next round!" -E

"What a fantastic opportunity to drop into your body, stop over-thinking, and MOVE." -K

"I am so grateful Tere held this container for us! Somatic movement reaffirmed my body’s innate wisdom to move in the ways bring me comfort. This class gave me more vocabulary to speak on my experiences through my mind-body connection and share that with others. I look forward to more events with Tere!" -J

Crescent Collective Tea Party

Special Themed Tea Party: Mystic Mad Hatter Tea Party

You're cordially invited to a whimsical afternoon of magical mayhem, where tea leaves whisper secrets and every bite is a bit out of the ordinary.

A spell-kissed celebration of spring, intention, and delightful nonsense! Inspired by the curious chaos of Alice in Wonderland and infused with the mystic charm of May, this tea party is brewed for the witchy, whimsical, and wildly imaginative.

What's Brewing:

  • The Spring Seer’s Sip: a curated herbal blend from our loose-leaf tea bar

    • Mugwort – Known as the “herb of dreams,” mugwort is deeply tied to intuition, lucid dreaming, protection, and liminal spaces—all very Mad Hatter and Wonderland-y.

    • Lemon Balm – Lemon balm is ruled by the Moon and associated with calm, clarity, and joy -a balm for the overthinking brain.

    • Violet – This dainty bloom is tied to intuition, peace, and faerie energy. Used in spells for truth, dreams, and gentle heart-opening.

This mystical blend supports intention-setting, playful visions, and a touch of Wonderland-level weirdness. (Alternate blends will be available for those who avoid mugwort.)

  • Curious Confections & Themed Finger Foods: With edible florals, color magic, and symbolic ingredients.

  • Tea Leaf Reading - Let our imagination and intuition divine your message from the bottom of the brew.

  • Pocketful of Peculiar Dreams Pillow Spell Satchet - At this spellcrafting station, you'll create your own enchanted sachet—a soft little charm to slip under your pillow and invite whimsical dreams, curious visions, and messages from your subconscious (or the Queen of Hearts herself).

Come in your most enchanting hat (the Madder the better!) and sip your way into a sensory spell as we welcome the season of blooming visions and fresh intentions
