  • This unique collaborative class brings together two amazing practitioners in one restorative class. Sue will lead participants through some simple restorative yoga poses (no yoga experience needed for this!) while she plays her sounds from singing bowls, chimes, gongs, drums and more. As you relax completely, Michele will share Reiki energy with each participant to help more fully let go.

    Restorative yoga is the practice of deliberate stillness. It is a restful practice that holds yoga asanas (poses) for a longer duration, using assorted props (blankets, cushions, blocks) to support the body more comfortably. The work emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga, striving for the union of the body and the mind. In restorative yoga, participants are encouraged to use the props to fully relax into each stretch and focus on the breath to release tension.
